Description | Suitable even for small ponds, tubs, and containers, this unusually small variety grows 12 to 18 in. tall. Very narrow grass like blue-greenish leaves and small, round, dark brown cattails are only 1 in. tall. Reports from areas warmer than zone 5 show that the plant requires a period of freezing dormancy to produce blooms. | ||
